Generally salvage titles are worth about 40% less than it would otherwise be.

In the real world, its what you can find someone to give it for you in CASH today.

Carmax will make you an offer. True wholesale is likely no more than $500-1000 higher.

In most cases you probably will make about 2/3 of kelley blue book if repaired correctly however if none poorly most likely will not bring much. ave a dealer look at it for you and give you an assessment of how sound the repairs are and set your selling price based on that.

  • Gremio:

    $9 and a taco.

It’s worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

KBB is worthless. It’s a GUIDE, not an actual valuation of your vehicle. Most people overlook this fact.

Go on Craigslist, and look for similar cars to yours. That will show you what people are selling their cars for. Look for the cars that actually get sold, don’t just focus on the high priced ones.

Then, take that price, and cut it in half.

That’s how much your car is worth with a salvage title.

    I’d guess around $2k. Maybe $3k.
